A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Zamfara State, Umar Abbas has commended the security forces on the success recorded in the fight against banditry in the state.
Umar Abbas said for the state to succeed in the fight against banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling and other crimes, residents must volunteer crucial information to the security operatives, to enable them locate and wipe them out from their hideouts.
Umar then called for more support to the security operatives to win the ongoing war against the security challenges bedeviling the state.

On the local government dissolution by the state executive, the All Progressive Congress chieftain said that this will not stand the test of time, as the party will challenge it in court because it was unconstitutional.
The chieftain was reacting to the recent local government dissolution in Gusau, with elections about a year away.
