As Preparations are in top gear towards the February 21, 2026 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council election, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will no longer lose election in the nation’s capital – Abuja.
Kalu stated this while briefing journalists shortly after the inauguration of the 138- member APC National Campaign Council for FCT Area Council election.
The Deputy speaker is Secretary of the Council chaired by the Governor of Kwara state and chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Kalu said he would rally residents of the FCT, especially his Igbo people in their numbers to vote for the candidates of APC in the forthcoming council polls.
National Chairman of APC Nentawe Yilwatda is confident of victory at the poll saying the ruling party has worked for success.
