President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged to sign into law the amended electoral act, to enhance credible electoral process in the country.

A chieftain of APGA in Zamfara State, Abdullahi Shinkafi, made the call in an exclusive interview with ait.live.

He also appealed to the President to extend the same gesture in Edo, to the Ondo State Governorship election, to ensure it is devoid of irregularities and votes buying.

The former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the 2019 General Election in Zamfara State, Abdullahi Shinkafi, is calling on the electorates in Ondo State to shun selling their votes and file out en masse to vote for the candidate of their choice.

He says for Nigeria to develop, it must produce leaders with the fear of God, integrity, and who are ready to adhere to the constitution.

On Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary, Abdullahi Shinkafi said, Nigerians can only celebrate liberation from colonial domination.

He decried that 60 years down the line, Nigeria is still being bedeviled with corruption, insecurity, poverty and alarming rate of unemployment, which in his view, is nothing to celebrate.

The Zamfara State born politician is advocating for attitudinal change on the part of Nigerians.
