In her last weeks in office, president of the court of appeal Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa in Asaba, Delta state capital promises quick dispensation and efficient administration of justice.
Justice Bulkachuwa who made this promise at the inauguration of the new Asaba division of the Court of appeal
And unveiled the library named after her also performed her valedictory visit which will take her to the various divisions of the court across the country ahead of her formal retirement in less than one month.
The court of appeal building, formerly Mariam Babangida Women Development Center has been remodelled to suit the specifications for establishment of the Asaba division with two court halls, six chambers for presiding judge and five other justices, office spaces for the registrar and the various departments, robing room for lawyers among others.

Justice Bulkachuwa prior to the inaugural sitting of the Asaba division of the court of appeal recalls the initial 3 divisions of court of appeal in Kaduna, Lagos and Enugu established in 1976 and the present one which she said was meant to bring justice closer to the people.
Governor Okowa described the opening of the court of appeal as a dream come true to him and the entire people of delta state as it will compliment his efforts in furthering the cause of justice coupled with his administration’s domestication of the administration of criminal justice act
In their seperate valedictory speeches, representative of the president Nigerian Bar Association, the Delta State attorney-general and commissioner for Justice Peter Mrakpor, body of senior advocates of Nigeria and body of benchers described justice Bulkachuwa as a true picture of GIRL-CHILD PROWESS IN LEADERSHIP.
