The Anglican Archbishop of Kaduna, Most Reverend Timothy Yahaya, has called on Nigerians to embrace national reorientation, stressing the need for a change of heart as the country enters the new year.
Delivering his New Year message, the Archbishop said Nigeria needs a renewed sense of purpose, urging both leaders and citizens to recommit to the values of integrity, unity, and patriotism.
He emphasised the urgent need to address the nation’s security challenges, warning against the politicisation of insecurity and calling for a people-centred approach to national safety.

Most Reverend Yahaya urged the government to ensure timely completion of road projects to avoid disruptions and security risks, while also cautioning that tax reforms must be fair, transparent, and not exploit citizens.
The Archbishop offered prayers for peace, unity, and national progress in 2026, while also praying for improved security across the country.
