The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Ignatius Kaigama, has called on the Nigerian government to develop new strategies in tackling security challenges on all fronts in the country.
The Archbishop said this while on a visit to Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Utako, Abuja , this Sunday, where he offered prayers for justice and social responsibilities in Nigeria.
Despite efforts by the government, the Archbishop said that insecurity has remained Nigeria’s biggest challenge, coupled with the global COVID-19 disease.
He appealed to Nigerians to be fervent in prayers, while appealing for honesty and commitments on the part of government officials, especially those assigned with the responsibility of tackling insecurity in the country.
The Archbishop of Abuja also used the occasion to remind Nigerians to observe the protocols against the spread of COVID-19 especially now that religious centres were opened.
