Minister of Interior and former Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola appears to have boycotted the 2022 Governorship election in his State as he was not seen in his polling unit 001, Ward 4, Ifofin, in Ilesa East Local Government Area.
AIT.live visited his polling unit and it was confirmed that he did not turn up to cast his vote.

At his country home, Aregbesola family member said despite the alleged ongoing feud between Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the Minister, the party remains supreme.
It was gathered that the former Governor was sighted at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja boarding flight to Akure but it is unclear whether he is in Osun State.
