THE Arewa Youths for Peaceful Coexistence has called on Governors of Northern Nigeria to rise above partisanship and embrace issues that will be beneficial to the Nation.
Addressing the media in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Coordinator, Arewa Youths for Peaceful Coexistence, Mark Okpanachi Ogah said time has come for Governors of Northern Nigeria extraction to become bridge builders through the support of fair policies that will engender unity and fairness.
The call is coming at the instance of the defection of Governor of Delta State Sheriff Oborovweri and the entire structure of the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
The group commended Governor Oborevwori and his followers for recognising the giant stride if the present administration of President Tinubu as a leeway to Nigeria’s economic emancipation.
According to Okpanachi, “It is a strategic and symbolic endorsement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
“Your decision reflects a deep commitment to national progress, unity, and a shared desire to reposition Nigeria on the path of sustainable development. We welcome you wholeheartedly into the progressive family. Delta is home, and together; we will build a better future for our great nation”.
“We want to use this medium to commend the chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, for his leadership role since the assumption of office.
One of the sagacious and assertive leadership qualities of the National Chairman is his propensity for election victory.
“For example, under his leadership, APC has won four out of the five off-season elections in the country. This achievement underscored the strategic acumen and organizational discipline of his. Again, his continued loyalty to the Renew Hope Agenda of President Tinubu is commendable.

National President of the Arewa Youth for Peaceful Coexistence, Bature Haruna also called on the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, to realign with his political mentor and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in the spirit of political wisdom and foresight.
