Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state says Nigeria will forever be indebted to military personnel who laid their lives for the Unity of the country.
Governor Akeredolu stated this on Sunday at the parade and laying of wreaths to celebrate the 2023 armed forces remembrance Day.
Akeredolu who was represented by his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa announced the disbursement of sixteen million Naira in interest-free loans to over 86 wives of departed heroes and wives of Legion.
He said the gesture will spur those living to know that their services would not be forgotten.
