Armed Forces Remembrance Day: Military Widows’ Association in Kaduna wants support on skills acquisition

The wives of fallen heroes in Kaduna, are calling on the government, individuals as well as corporate organizations, to assist them, by creating a skills acquisition centre to improve their livelihood.

The Chairperson of the Military Widows’ Association, Mary Adoh, said such centres will help minimize the hardship faced by the widows.

The Acting Chairman of Kaduna State Legionnaires, Danjuma Baren, appreciated the government for the prompt payment of their pension.

He however, also wants an improvement in their general welfare.

The Military Widows Association said, they would want the Armed Forces to hasten up the payments by the insurance company, so that the widows can get their rightful benefits.
