Taraba State Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu has cautioned against the use of arms at the slightest provocation.
This he said, has led to avoidable conflicts that sometimes lingered for too long.
The Deputy Governor was speaking at the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration, marked in Jalingo, the state capital.
The 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day also marked the 51st anniversary since the end of Nigeria’s civil war in 1970, and the Nigerian Army Legion.

The day was marked with a parade by soldiers, at the Jalingo Trade Fair Complex.
The laying of wreaths were performed by the Taraba State Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu, and other dignitaries at the event.
