Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has called on well-meaning Nigerians and private sectors to partner with government to ensure that widows of military personnel who lost their lives in the cause of protecting the Nation are not abandoned.
Governor Uzodimma who spoke at the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day event at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square in Owerri, after the laying of wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier, reassured that the government will continue to show support for the welfare of relatives of the fallen heroes
Uzodimma however expressed gratitude to the leadership of Nigeria military for their commitment in the celebration of the event every year
