Army Chief tells new recruit intake to shun acts of indiscipline

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has charged the 80th Regular Recruit Intake to be prepared to defend the country from any act of aggression, terrorists, and armed bandits.

Buratai who arrived in Kano in the company of top military commanders, urged the recruits to shun all forms of laziness and indiscipline.

He stressed that any unpatriotic act will not condoned by the Nigerian Army.

The first call to duty for the intake is the 30 kilometers marathon, before being moved to the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria, where they will undergo Special Forces Training, before deployment.
