The commander of Nigerian Army Special Forces 4, Doma Maj.-Gen. Hilary Nzan has warned all criminal elements in Benue and Nasarawa to leave the states or stay peaceful as the unit will do all within its powers to protect lives and property
Major general Nzan gave the warning in a statement by the acting deputy director, Army Public Relations of the command, Joseph Afolasade and made available to journalists in Lafia, north-central Nigeria
The Commander of the Force, with Headquarters in Doma, Nasarawa State vowed to crush bandits and other criminal elements operating in Nasarawa and Benue states , stressing that peace is not negotiable in the states
The commander said any criminal element who fails to heed the warning by the command would be hunted and dealt with by the armed forces and other security agencies.

He cautioned kidnappers, armed robbers, cattle rustlers, recalcitrant herders and farmers to think twice before indulging in any activity that is against the law.
Nzan explained that its operation is aimed at checkmating various skirmishes and criminality within the states, especially during the Yuletide period and beyond.
