The appeal was made by the chief of innovation and transformation Major General Zakari Abubakar when he represented the chief of Army Staff Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja at the commissioning of a 200-seat capacity town hall at Idunowina community in Orhiomwon local government area of the statestate executed executed by an indigene of the community, The Army Chief who made the acknowledged the community’s support for the Army’s vision of peace and security for the country.
The project is the brainchild of the chief of Army staff Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja as part of the special intervention Civil Military projects of the Nigerian Army.
The Executor of the project, Commander of Operation Whirl Stroke, Major General Sunday Igbinomwahia and other keyplayers including the state governor Godwin Obaseki thanked the Chief of army staff for the multipurpose town hall and other facilities executed, promising to ensure their optimum utilisation.
