The General Officer Commanding of the Nigerian Army’s 6 Division, with Headquarters in Port Harcourt, Major General Olu Irefin has died.
The senior officer reportedly died of Covid-19.
He is among top brass of the army attending the annual Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference which opened in Abuja on Monday.
ait.live gathered that all the conference participants have now been placed in isolation.

He took over the command as GOC 6 Division in July after being deployed from 81 Diivision, Lagos where he was also the GOG
