The Commander of the special task force deployed to ensure peace in Plateau state Operation Safe Haven, Major General Ibrahim Ali, on Sunday, ordered an investigation in to the alleged killing of a Commercial Taxi driver by some Personnel of the STF.
The deceased, Abdullahi Karafa was alleged to have been beaten to death by the personnel of the special task force while driving during Curfew hours on Friday night, the 10th day of September, 2021 around Farin Gada Tomatoes Market in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The victim, a father of 4 children and a resident of Angwan Rimi was said to have sustained injuries which later resulted to his death.
Meanwhile, the Spokesman of the STF, Major Ishaku Takwa, while reacting to the Development in a statement said the Command received the report of the incident with rude shock.
According to Major Takwa, the Commander of the STF Major General Ibrahim Ali, has since visited the family of the deceased and has also constituted a board of inquiry to unravel those behind the heinous act and assured that those found guilty would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
As at the time of filing in this report, the identity of the personnel involved in the alleged killing of the commercial Taxi driver Abdullahi Karafa is still yet unknown.
