An articulated vehicle was Saturday morning set ablaze by some angry youth after the driver had allegedly killed a motorcyclist, and one other passenger, in Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Ait.live gathered that the accident occurred at Akpoha axis of the Afikpo-Abakaliki expressway road of the state.
The road for hours appeared impassable by commuters as vehicles were seen parked along the expressway while others turned back to avoid being in the middle of the crossfire.

The Ebonyi state Police Public Relations Officer, Loveth Odah, confirming the incident via telephone, said the truck driver rammed into the motorcyclist carrying two passengers, a boy and a woman.
Odah said the motorcyclist and the boy died on the spot while the woman survived and wast rushed to the hospital,where she is receiving treatment.
She said it took the intervention of security operatives to rescue the driver and return normalcy to the area
