The President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke says, ‘enough is enough’ on ASUU Strike’ comment by President Muhammadu Buhari, is strange.
Also, the National Youth Leader, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians, David Kadzai says, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration should be held accountable for any misbehaviour by the youth as a result of the five months old ASUU strike.
The two have also lashed out at government officials who brandish their children, when they graduate from foreign-based universities, while Nigerian institutions remain under lock and key.

The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigeria, the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Medical and Health Workers Union, have all agreed that President Buhari holds the key to ending the ASUU strike.
ASUU has been on strike for about 150 days, despite the ongoing renegotiation of the 2009 FG/ASUU agreement, led by emeritus Professor Nimi Briggs, and the ongoing test of the ASUU-developed payment system, the UTAS.
While over two million Nigerian students remain at home, and several others, on the streets, Many like David Kadzai, argue that some students have already taken to crimes, while the privileged ones, in private universities and overseas institutions, which according to him is a ticking time bomb.
