The National Association of Nigeria Students NANS South East zone,has called on the Federal Government to resolve its disagreement with the Academic Staff Union of University ASUU or face a national mass action by the students.
The zonal representative of the Association, Frank Orji stated this while addressing the press at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, described as unfortunate the non- chalant attitude of the federal government towards the welfare of Nigerian University lecturers.
Orji observed that incessant strike in Nigeria Universities has increased social vices among the youths.

He insisted that the federal government has not given priority attention to education in the country.
While calling on Nigerian Students to remain law abiding, the NANS zonal representative called on Government at all levels to engage the youths with employment.
