A Visually impaired Masters student, Eloka Edoye has appealed to the Federal Government and the Academic Staff union of universities, ASUU to end the ongoing strike.

Eloka made the appeal at a stakeholders validation meeting on Accountability for good governance in education by Youth Hub Africa.

Eloka Edoye has been blind all his life.

Without allowing his condition to have the better part of him, he pushed to attain education.

He is a masters degree student in peace and conflict resolution.

Eloka has been attending private schools all his life, but sees the ongoing strike by the Academic staff union of universities as a major setback for the country’s education development.

Eloka and other speakers think lack of Accountability by Nigeria’s education managers is a major reason for the huge patronage of private schools and mass exodus to schools abroad

These education advocates are among several others, pushing for better education standards and quality in Nigeria.
