The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it has commenced the Continuous Voter Registration exercise in Birnin-Gwari Local Government of Kaduna State.
It had been on hold, due to security concerns in the area.
INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kaduna State, Asmau Maikudi, said this at the First Quarter briefing of the commission, ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner also expressed delight, in the improvement of online voter registration, across the state.
Asmau said the commission is working hard, to ensure that all eligible voters are registered.
