The Chief Medical Director of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, Dr. Yusuf Jibrin, has re-echoed again, the hike in electricity bill in the hospital, the lack of water supply and manpower at the facility.
He made the call when the Senate Committee on Health, visited the hospital for oversight functions.
The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Yusuf Jibrin, told the committee that issue of electricity top its list of concerns, as a result of the recent electricity hike and other related challenges.

The Senate Committee Chairman on Health, Senator Ipalibo Banigo, who led her team round the hospital, acknowledged that they had taken note of the problem, and would channel it further for deliberations.
The management of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital is hopeful that the committee will act fast on their immediate requests, especially their monthly electricity bill of about 50 million Naira.
