Atiku Abubakar’s Son Adamu, Resigns Appointment From Adamawa State Government

Adamawa state Commissioner For Works and Energy Development Adamu Atiku Abubakar has resigned his position as a member of the Adamawa state Executive Council.

His action is coming less than Seventy-two hours after the defection of his boss, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri from the PDP to the APC.

Adamu Atiku Abubakar is the second child and first son of former Vice- President Atiku Abubakar, had until now served in the Administration of Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Fintiri as Commissioner for Works and Energy Development from inception

In a letter personally signed by the erswhile commissioner and presented to the Governor through the Secretary to the state government, Adamu Atiku Abubakar appreciated Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for the opportunity granted him to serve in the capacity and went further to wish the Governor well in his endeavors

Adamu Atiku Abubakar remains the only one among his commissioner colleagues who refused to defect with the Governor to the All Progressives Congress (APC)
