The Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has again called out the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, insisting that he cannot stop him from speaking out about the ceaseless killings in his State.
Governor Ortom stated this at the Benue State University teaching hospital Makurdi when he visited survivors of last week’s attack on Gbeji Community of Ukum local government of the State adding that if he wants to stop him he should first stop his kinsmen from attacking.
Governor Samuel Ortom could not keep his cool when he met face to face with the victims incapacitated by attacks from suspected herders.

He was at the Benue State University teaching hospital to inspect ongoing renovation work which he said was satisfactory.
Ortom proceeded to the Ministry of lands survey and solid minerals which houses the billion naira BENGIS project which is expected to ease land administration in the State.
When the digitization of land administration finally takes off in a few weeks it would speed up the process of acquiring land titles and land related conflicts in the years ahead.
