Ahead of this weekend’s African Union Summit, foreign affairs ministers across the continent have convened to set the tone for deliberations by Heads of State and Government.
The ministers reviewed implementation strategies for Agenda 2063, outlining policy frameworks to guide key decisions at the summit.

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, participated in the session.
He also held talks with the African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, Bankole Adeoye.

According to a statement from Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on strengthening Africa’s peace and security architecture through preventive diplomacy, governance stability, and coordinated continental responses to emerging challenges.
