The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. has announced the successful re-streaming of the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC).
According to NNPC Limited’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, the refinery, which has been rehabilitated to restore its full functionality, has commenced processing crude oil and dispatching petroleum products, including Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), and Household Kerosene (HHK), to the market.

Kyari described the achievement as a “testament to the federal government’s commitment to ensuring energy security and stimulating economic growth in Nigeria.”
The successful rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery will serve as a major boost to Nigeria’s refining capacity and reduce the country’s dependence on imported petroleum products.
