Local Authorities in Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria have cried out that terrorists have surrounded two Local Government Areas of Langtang North and Langtang South and have concluded plans to launch deadly attack on the natives.
Council chairman of Langtang North, Laven Ubandoma, who raised the alarm while addressing journalists in Jos, the state capital said they had spotted the terrorists and pleaded with the government and the security agents to do everything possible to stop the planned attack on innocent citizens.

Attacks on the Plateau have continued unabated despite efforts of security operatives, with killings of farmers, travellers and the destruction of homes and farmlands.
The situation has placed communities on red alert to avoid being taken unaware which is the reason for the alarm raised by the Lantang North Council Chairman who said terrorists have invaded the area and are about to launch an attack on the people.
The Council Chairman claimed that security agents have also confirmed the report while calling for the protection of unarmed civilians who cannot defend themselves.
