Bala Mohammed Inaugurates New High Court Judges, Says No More Delayed Cases

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the judicial arm of government, to expedite the speedy dispensation of justice in the state.

The governor gave the indication during the swearing-in of the newly appointed High Court judges and Khadis of the state’s Sharia Court of Appeal, among others, at the Bauchi State Government House.

The newly appointed High Court judges and Khadis of the state Shari’a court of appeal, took the oath of office and oath of allegiance, administered by the State Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Umar.

Justice Rabi Umar, while congratulating the newly sworn-in judges, enjoined them to work hard, in discharging their duties, as justice has no room for personal interest, requesting more support from the government.

Presiding over the swearing-in ceremony, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, sent a strong warning to members of the judiciary, that the day of delaying cases is over, as his administration will continue to accord the sector, the much-needed support.

He advised the celebrants to cooperate with the authorities concerned, and adhere strictly to the code of conduct, governing their oath of allegiance and the oath of office, for the development of the state.

Governor Bala Mohammed also presided over the swearing-in of chairmen and members of some state statutory commissions and the inauguration of the board of the state’s Bureau for Public Procurement.
