Governors of Zamfara and Niger States met with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu in Abuja.
Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara and his Niger State counterpart Mohammed Bago, visited the National Security Adviser with a view to coming up with a lasting solution to the lingering banditry disturbing both states.

The need to improve synergy between the two states and the office of the National Security Adviser was said to have topped the agenda of their meeting.
