As the fight against banditry intensifies in Katsina state, police in the state say they have arrested a notorious 30-year-old Chadian citizen, Usman Muhammed and his accomplice from Sokoto state, Usman Hassan at Yantumaki village of Faskari area council.

In a statement by the police spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, the duo was arrested following an intelligence report received by the command after carrying out a sting operation in their hideout in the village.
