Troops of the Joint Taskforce NorthWest, Operation Hadarin Daji, have killed seven terrorists and recovered four arms in Bukkuyum and Shinkafi Local Government Areas of Zamfara State.
The successes were recorded during the troops’ series of clearance operations carried out on 5th June.
Sources said that the troops cleared terrorists’ camps at Galadi, Basamna and Kayaye communities in Shinkafi Local Government of Areas of the state, where they neutralized three terrorists while two motorcycles were burnt in situ.
In a similar vein, on 6th June, troops acting on a credible intelligence trailed terrorist movement along the Kumbo Community in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State and conducted an offensive in which they neutralized four terrorists.

The success was achieved by troops of Operation Hadarin Daji deployed at the Forward Operating Base in Anka LGA, that promptly mobilized and engaged in a gun duel with the terrorists, which resulted in the killing of four terrorists, and the recovery of Four AK 47 rifles, two extra AK 47 magazines, four motorcycles and a quantity of 26 Special rounds.
