The wife of a lecturer at the Federal College of Education (Technical) FCET, Gusau, Dr.Abdulrazak Mu’azu and his two daughters were abducted in the early hours of Friday by suspected bandits at Mareri community, a suburb of Gusau metropolis in Zamfara State.
A source told AIT that the suspects stormed the residence of the lecturer at about 1am and abducted his wife and two daughters to an unknown location.
The source said nobody was killed in the attack but that valuable worth millions of naira were carted away.
When contacted the Zamfara State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu was unable to confirm the development.
It will be recalled that it was in Mareri community the Senior Medical Consultant Gynecologist with the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, Enoch Okpara was gruesomely murdered by unknown gunmen in his residence.
