More than twenty persons have been abducted by bandits in Galadiman Kogo community in Shiroro local government area of Niger state.
The bandits invasion was resisted by the community members who were also armed.
The bandits, riding on motorcycles, numbering over a hundred, arrived Galadiman Kogo village in the early hours of Tuesday.
After long hours of fire exchange, the bandits were seen taking away their injured members.

As the resistance was too much for the bandits who were heading to Chukuba village, they were said to have however, successfully abducted more than twenty persons.
The bandits also rustled more than three thousand cattle, according to one of the community members who spoke to ait.live on phone.
