Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped the paramount ruler of the Mhship people in Plateau State, His Royal Highness Nda Sunday Dasha II.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday at his residence in Pankshin Local Government Area of the state.
A family source who wants to remain anonymous told AIT that the bandits who came in large numbers, stormed the community on foot at about a few minutes past midnight and began shooting sporadically, and in the process took the paramount ruler away.
Plateau State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
However, the family source said they are still waiting for the abductors to establish contact.
