Bandits have killed five Farmers in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incident, at Kogul community in the early hours of Friday came 48 hours after armed men raided the communities of Kwahas and Milet in the same council area and killed two people, including a woman leader.
An eye witness, Moses Pankyes, who confirmed the killings to newsmen in Jos said the attackers arrived in the community at about 2:00 am on Friday and began shooting in different directions.
Five farmers were confirmed dead and many houses burned.

Plateau State Police Command, Alfred Alabo, who also confirmed the incident told ait.live the command had already deployed its men to the situation he said is now under control.
State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has condemned the attack and urged security agencies to hunt the killers and bring them to face the full wrath of the law.
