One of the six persons abducted by bandits from Zango Community in Samaru, Zaria has been killed.
The deceased, Hanatu Lawal was a pharmacist at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika.

According to a source close to the family, the bandits killed the victim and deposited her lifeless body at a bush path around Kufena, in Zaria, which was found on Monday evening.
The source said that there is yet to be any form of discussion between the bandits and families of the abductees for ransom.
The deceased who is married with two children and has been buried.
On Friday bandits stormed Zango, a community that is along the same location with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria College of Aviation, National Institute of Leather and Science and Technology and the Nigeria Institute of Transport Technology where they abducted six persons- two males and four females.
The abduction and subsequent killing of Hanatu has heightened fears among residents and institutions around the community of possible attacks.
