Suspected bandits have again struck at Yantumaki village in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State killing the district head, Abubakar Atiku and injuring others.
The incident according to a source who pleaded anonymity said, the attack occurred at about 12:06am on monday when the bandits stormed the area.
This incident is coming less than 24 hours after suspected bandits reportedly killed the all progressives congress, apc chairman of Batsari Local Government Area Abdulhamid Mamman in a similar attack when he resisted been abducted.
Police in a statement by the spokesperson sp gambo isah said joint operations by men of the operation puff adder and sharan daji were ongoing in Batsari Local Government Area for possible arrests.
The police was however yet to respond to the latest attack on Yantumaki in Danmusa Local Government Area of the state.
