Bandits kill three abducted students of Greenfield University

Armed bandits have shot and killed three of the abducted students of Greenfield University.

Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan confirmed the killings in a statement; describing the act as ” mindless evil and sheer wickedness”.

According to the statement, the remains of the three students were found on Friday, in Kwanan Bature village, a location close to the university and have been evacuated to a mortuary by the Commissioner, Internal Security an Home Affairs, and Force Commander, Operation Thunder Strike, Lieutenant Colonel MH Abdullahi.

Meanwhile the State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has condemned the killing of three students describing it as inhuman and sheer wickedness.

He said the armed bandits represent the worst of humankind and must be fought at all cost for the violent wickedness they represent.

The Governor sympathised with the families of the deceased and prayed for the repose of their souls.

Armed bandits had on Tuesday attacked Greenfield University, in Kasarmi village along Kaduna-Abuja Highway; kidnapping an unspecified number of students.
