Two days after defeating the United States Olympic basketball team, Nigeria’s d’ tigers blew away Argentina 94 – 71 in an exhibition game in Las Vegas to make a statement of intent ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
After a slow start which saw Argentina take a five-point lead in the first quarter, d’ Tigers clawed their way back into the contest to open a ten-point lead at halftime.

The Nigerian side never looked back finishing the match with a 24 point margin, Detriot Pistons centre, Jahil Okafor topped score with 15 points.
Miami heat’s precious Achiuwa, Sacramento kings’, Chimezie Metu, and Timberwolves’ josh okogie also hit double-digit combining to score a total of32 points.
Nigeria will on Wednesday face Australia, their group b opponents in the men’s basketball event at Tokyo.
