Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has called on the Federal Government to purchase adequate Covid 19 vaccines, to cover the entire population, instead of depending on donor agencies.
The governor made the called while flagging off Covid-19 vaccination in the state.
Being the first index case of Covid -19 in Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his appreciation to the people of the state for their positive response to the vaccine, despite the non-compliance shown by some other countries around the globe.
The governor also called on the Federal Government to use its available resources to purchase the vaccines in large quantity and in time, to ensure quality life for the citizens.

Bauchi State deputy governor who is also the chairman of state’s Tasks Force on Covid-19, Senator Baba Tela, alongside other speakers said, this is clear attestation that the virus has come to an end, following the discovery of the Coronavirus vaccines.
Though it has been screened and certified by medical experts, people have been urged to report any reactions, observed after the vaccination.
