Bauchi Gov. Bala Mohammed establishes oil and gas institute in Alkaleri LGA

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring the establishment and full take-off of the Institute for Oil and Gas in the Alkaleri Local Government Area Of Bauchi State, to facilitate oil exploration, create job opportunities and empower the people.

The governor gave the assurance during his campaign tour of Alkaleri and Kirfi Local Government Areas of the state.

The campaign train of Governor Bala Mohammed moved to his country home, Duguri in the Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State and was received by a mammoth crowd.

He had to step out of his official vehicle and rode on horseback to the palace of the District Head signifying that he is of royalty.

After receiving the monarch’s blessings, the governor moved to the lecture venue to address the political gathering and spoke about his re-election agenda which included, ensuring the success of oil exploration in the area, as well as the establishment of an oil and gas institute in Alkaleri Local Government.

Less than two weeks before the 2023 Presidential Election, Governor Bala Mohammed has enjoined the people to vote for the PDP’s Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, for more dividends of democracy to come to the region and the country in general.

Bala Mohammed used the occasion to inaugurate the construction of a 2.3 billion Naira road project linking the communities in Alkaleri, to alleviate the transportation difficulties and boost the economy of the areas.
