Governor Bala Mohammed has described the death of renowned neurosurgeon Professor Abdu Ibrahim as a great loss, not only to the members of his family but also to the people of Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
In a condolence message, Governor Bala Mohammed extended his condolences to the family, friends, and associates of the late Professor Ibrahim.
The governor said he was performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia when he received the news.
He said that the late Professor Ibrahim will be greatly remembered by the citizens of the state for what he described as his dogged commitment and enormous contributions in the area of healthcare delivery in Bauchi State since its creation
Professor Abdu Ibrahim died on June 29 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Bauchi from a protracted illness.
