Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has enjoined Muslims to use the Maulud celebration to foster peaceful coexistence in the country.
In a Maulud message through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, Bala Mohammed
emphasized the need for intensified prayers and reflection of the exemplary life of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him.
The governor said the birth of Prophet Muhammad, through whom the religion of Islam came to the world, has brought about positive changes, in the existence and relationship among the human race, and other living things.

He further explained that the prophet preaches peace, honesty, patience, generosity, humility, love for one another and fear of Allah.
The Governor also enjoined Muslims to use the occasion to promote peace in the state and the nation in general, in the face of the current security challenges, across the country.
The governor used the medium to reiterate his administration’s commitment to sustain collaboration with relevant security agencies, towards ensuring the protection of lives and properties of the citizens.
