Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has presented a proposed 2021 budget estimate of over 213 bilion Naira before the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
The governor said, the budget if implemented, will help enhance the economic growth and development of the state
The 2021 appropriation bill tagged, “Budget of Consolidation”, has capital expenditure at over 120 billion Naira, representing 56 percent, while the recurent expenditure is to gulp the sum of over 90 billion and represents 44 percent of the budget.
The governor said, education and health received the larger percentage of the entire budget.

The Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Sulaiman said the budget will go a long way to solve and upgrade the living standards of people.
He urged the governor to redouble his effort in both human and capital development, especially in the areas of health and education among others, for sustainable growth and development.
Despite party diffrences, the speaker assured the governor of the speedy passage of the 2021 Budget.
