Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohamed has sounded a note of warning to traditional rulers and civil servants on partisan politics.
He gave the warning while presenting Staff of Office to the 11th Emir of Misau, Ahmed Suleiman at the Misau Township Stadium on Sunday.
This is one of the memorable days for Misau Emirate as thousands of people from across the country turned up for the presentation of Staff of Office to the Emir.
The Misau Township Stadium was almost filled to its capacity by traditional title holders, captains of industry, prominent personalities past governors, as the State Governor formally presented the Staff of Office to the Emir shortly after he took the oath of office administered by the State Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Umar

The 11th Emir of Misau, Ahmed Suleiman in his acceptance speech, in Hausa language said, “I see this privilege as a heavy task while others see it as reaching a peak in life as Emir”. He appreciated both past and present Governors for finding him worthy.
The event was marked with colourful durbar as tradition demands for the new Emir to ride on the royal horse amidst cheers from his subject who came to grace the occasion.
