Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the re-appointment of Barrister Ibrahim Kashim as the Secretary to the State Government.
A statement signed by the Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, said the appointment is with immediate effect.
According to the statement, the re-appointment of Ibrahim Kashim was informed by his track record of sincerity, loyalty, commitment and wealth of experience in the discharge of assigned responsibilities.

It could be recalled that Ibrahim Kashim was the immediate past Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, who clinched the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Ticket, before his voluntary withdrawal, which necessitated the party to conduct a fresh governorship primary.
