Bauchi Governor To Employ 2,000 Youths To Fight Kidnapping, Cattle Rustling

In an effort to strengthen the Security architecture towards addressing kidnapping and Banditry in Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed has expressed his administration’s readiness to employ over two thousand Professional hunters to beef up the Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency.

Governor Bala Mohammed Disclosed this when he paid a sympathy visit to Duguri District over the lost of twenty people who were killed by Suspected Bandits in Alkaleri local government area of Bauchi State.

Following the recent ambushed laid on Vigilante group and some communities in Alkaleri local government area by suspected Bandits and Kidnappers that led to the lost of Vigilantes and other innocent lives in some communities of the local government, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed accompanied by top government officials and security chiefs, sympathized with the affected communities over the attacks and assured them of government’s support.

While extending the federal government’s heart felt condolences to the people of the affected communities over the deadly attack Governor Bala Mohammed highlighted some of the Government’s intervention and effort in addressing insecurity across the state.

The Governor announced the donation of over Ninety million Naira to the deceased families demonstrating his government’s effort to provide relief to the victims.

Speaking on behalf of the affected communities, the district heads of Duguri Adamu Mohammed and Gwana District Ahmed Adamu Jumba appreciate government’s support in ensuring the security of the citizens and the state.
