Residents of Kuhu, the Host Communities of Nigerian Air Force, Bauchi, has commended the efforts of the Force through the 261 Reference Hospital for providing much-needed healthcare services for them.
According to the Residents, they are happy with the Nigerian Air Force presence in their communities, noting that the outreach programme has brought much-needed relief to the most valuable persons in the community.
The outreach programme is part of the activities of NAF marking its 61 years anniversary which offered a range of medical services, including consultations, treatments, and health education to the targeted 700 beneficiaries.
According to some of the beneficiaries, they have been struggling with health issues and with the treatment received amidst heightened economy, it will cushion the effect of their ailments.

The Commanding officer of Nigeria Airforce Bauchi, Air Vice Marshal Usman Abdullahi, represented by Air Vice Marshal Abdullahi Bello said the medical outreach programme is a shining example of the military’s commitment to serving the nation and its people.
NAF assured that serious cases identified during the outreach would be referred to the NAF hospital in Bauchi for further treatment, stressing that the hospital remains open to civilians.
