Bauchi Insecurity: Gov. Bala Mohammed expresses concern over worsening banditry

The Bauchi state Governor Bala Mohammed has Ordered the immediate redeployment of Police Divisional Officers DPOs especially in areas being faced with security challenges.

Bala Mohammed Gave the order when he paid a sympathy visit to families of those who were kidnapped in Torro and Alkaleri local government areas of the state.

Addressing residents of the community, Governor Bala Mohammed gave assurance of his administration’s determination to bring all the perpetrators to book to serve as detterance to others.

Accompanied by all the heads of security agencies in the state, governor Bala Mohammed charged them to restrategise so as to stem the tide of such activities, pledging continued to support in the areas of logistics to enable them win the war against crime and criminality in the state.

The state commissioner of Police Umar Sanda who appreciated the governor for his concern on the security situation in the State, noted that some of the perpetrators have been arrested .

Umar Sanda also called on the Community members to always assist the police with useful information on suspicious movements for prompt action.
